That's right kids, Just a bit over a year ago, we did the tour, and with the success of the last one, we decided to go ahead and bring it back! This time around it's just a bit more exciting. Why you ask? Well, this time we've got some special material to promote. Obviously, the Evol boys new album has just dropped, and that's certianly a big deal! Aside from that, my EP will be just about available to the public! This year we all celebrate 10 years of Evol Intent with the long anticipated release of their massive LP "Era of Diversion". This tour serves as the official UK/Europe tour for their LP. Ewun has established himself in the international drum & bass scene with an impressive list of releases on some of the most prestigious labels in the industry. Since his first worldwide record release, his tunes have been destroying dancefloors all over the planet with an all- star lineup of DJ support from the biggest and most influential DJs in the scene. His reputation has grown from his trademark blend of hip-hop, glitched breakbeats, twisted distortion, and a never-ending supply of sheer attitude. The purpose of this tour is to promote his new EP "Wun Nation" due out on Evol Intent Recs. in May, as well as plenty of brand new exclusives!
Ewun & Evol Intent have been touring North America both together and separetely for last few years. Additionally they have collaberated on countless musical projects over the years. Most of which have been signed to some of the industries biggest drum'n'bass labels. It is our pleasure to offer this tour east of the atlantic to show the world what has earned them the success and made them the sensations they are today in the global drum'n'bass community.  Hey guys,
Just in case you didn't know Evol Intent has just released the final artwork and information for their forthcoming LP titled "Era of Diversion". I've had the promo CD version of the album for a coupla months now, and it hasn't left my CD player. I think many of you will be really suprised (in a good way) at the amount of material this massive project yields. DJ's will be more than happy with the 4x 12" LP vinyl release, and everyone will fall in love with the 19 Track CD release of the full album.
Some of you probably have expectations of the CD being the typical prototype most use: a mix CD with everything on the LP and maybe a coupla exclusives. Or an unmixed version of the LP. Thankfully, the boys didn't conform to the same old plan, and created a timeless album (in my opinion at least) that has a lot of long term value. The CD includes but switches from the glitchy, hard edged, trademark Evol Intent sound, and explores and exposes a lot of the groups other musical passions. From the more ambient and atmospheric, to the glitchy IDM inspired realm, even into the live rock inspired arena, with cameos from members of the bands BANE, and The Sound Of Animals Fighting. To be honest I could sit here and rant about how good this record is for hours, but ultimately you just gotta listen for yourself. Needless to say, I am very excited and honored to have been a part of this immense project expect a series of US and worldwide tours in celebration of it. Infact, an Evol Intent Records tour feat. Gigantor and myself will begin in late april early may of this year. Prepare yourself, the album drops march 5thI You can pre-order an advance copy here .
